Course Description:

This Workplace Harassment Awareness training course is intended for all Employers who are required to provide awareness education on what harassment is, the types of Harassment, and the steps the organization has taken to prevent Harassment in the workplace.

Safety and Health regulations in all Canadian Provinces and Territories that Employers demonstrate a commitment to increasing awareness of what is considered harassing behaviour; and that such behaviour will not be tolerated.

Employers are required to protect employees from harassing behaviour in the workplace, which includes making a Statement of Commitment and implementing a Harassment Prevention policy and procedures. This is an awareness level training course and is intended to educate employees to better understand the rights, roles, and responsibilities when it comes to preventing harassment in their workplace.

The course includes 9 sections:

  2. Rights Roles And Responsibilities
  3. What Is Harassment
  4. Protected Grounds
  5. What Is Not Harassment
  6. Examples Of Harassment
  7. Commitment Statement
  8. Harassment Preventions
  9. Reporting, Investigating, And Resolution

A final test is included following the completion of the materials to check and confirm employees understand the material.
